Our fantastic headquarters is based on the site of an Iron Age hill fort in Membury, on the border of Berkshire and Wiltshire - visit us to browse our extensive range of goods, and discuss your requirements with our friendly team of industry experts.

We are able to deliver timber, building and fencing materials to customers across Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire, utilising the latest technology to ensure deliveries are correct and timely.

October - Site Taken On

In 2018 we took on our site in Membury. It wasn't the cleanest of sites and needed some considerable work and investment, but it was a start! Head Count: 3

2019 - Work Commences

May - Work on Site Commences

It took us the best part of a year to get the site up and running; and everything needed doing! From a collapsed wall, to removing endless old cars, it was never easy, but always thoroughly rewarding. Head Count: 3

2019 - Vehicles arrive

November - First Vehicles Arrive

After 6 months of hard graft, our new vehicles finally arrived. Our 26T lorry "Vicky", and our flat bed van "Roushka" have been with us ever since! Head Count: 4

2020 - Open for Business

January - Open for Business

With a skeleton staff, and only 2 delivery vehicles, we opened our doors and started to service our lovely customers across Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire & Oxfordshire. Head Count: 7

2020 - 2nd Lorry

March - 2nd Lorry Arrives

During the Covid lockdown we took delivery of our second lorry "Chrissy", giving us better delivery times and options. Head Count: 12

July - 3rd Lorry Arrives

As our first year progressed, we realised 2 lorries weren't quite cutting the mustard, so we brought in our 3rd 26T Lorry "Cathy" to enable even faster deliveries for our constantly-growing customer base. Head Count: 14

September - Timber Racking Installed

With more business, came the need for more stock. As a result, covered racking for our timber became a necessity, and has made ours and our customer's lives much easier. Head Count: 15

What a first year we had. With covid a constant companion, life was never that easy, but thanks to our great team and amazing customers we couldn't have wished for a better year. Head Count: 17

June - Wagon & Drag Arrives

With or continued push for excellent customer service, having the option for full loads of materials was a no brainer. So we pulled the trigger on our 4th 26T lorry "Lindy", which also has the capacity to tow a trailer; increasing the weight capacity to a 25T payload. Head Count: 20

July - 2nd Unit Taken On

At FORT, growth and progression is key. So in 2021, we took on a second warehouse and office unit to extend our existing storage space. Head Count: 20

November - 2nd Van Arrives

With 4 lorries running day in day out, another "panic wagon" was crucial. After waiting for 6 months, our 2nd 3.5T van "Natalie" arrived ready for prompt deliveries. Head Count: 20

2022 - Trex Showdeck

March - Show Deck Installed

In March 22' our huge show deck was installed. With many more projects on the line FORT will soon have its own fantastic showroom showcasing many different materials and products. Head count: 24
